Götaverken, established in 1841, evolved from shipbuilding to environmental technologies with the founding of Götaverken Miljö AB (GMAB) in 1988. GMAB introduced the world’s first flue gas condensation system for a Waste-to-Energy plant, setting a benchmark in emissions control. Acquired by Babcock & Wilcox Vølund A/S in 2010 and later by AUCTUS Capital Partners AG in 2024, GMAB is now partnered with SPIG. Known for its advanced flue gas cleaning systems, GMAB collaborates with universities and research institutes to develop innovative technologies reducing emissions and environmental impact.
