SF6-FIX
SF6 FIX is a sealing system for the safe and sustainable repair of SF₆ gas leaks in medium and high-voltage installations during operation. SF₆ (sulphur hexafluoride) is a powerful greenhouse gas with a very high global warming potential. Even small leaks therefore have a major environmental impact. With SF6 FIX, leaking flanges, connections and seals are encapsulated with a specially developed polymer system with very low gas permeability. The system is applied cold and solvent-free, without welding or dismantling the asset. This reduces emissions to undetectable levels while the installation remains operational.
