Tracing
Heating Group is the specialist in the Netherlands in the field of electrical heat tracing. We are happy to tell you everything about what heat tracing is, how heat tracing ribbon is applied and what we can do for you in this.

Space heating -Fan heater
A fan heater quickly and easily creates pleasant conditions where a pleasant temperature and humidity are important for everyone's well-being. In large spaces, the air displacement ensures even heating. Each fan heater is supplied with a built-in thermostat that prevents more energy being used than is absolutely necessary. This heater also has a built-in five-position switch with which the amount of air and heat can be regulated. Fan heaters are very handy and easy to carry due to their low weight. This makes our fan heater very suitable for both permanent installation in warehouses or garages, but also for portable use on construction sites, for example. With an IP value of IP42, it can be used carefree on industrial sites. In addition, its sleek design also makes it very suitable for use in public spaces. Our fan heaters are available in capacities from 2,000 W to 24,000 W. In large spaces, the air displacement ensures even heating, whereby the built-in thermostat ensures that no more energy is ever used than necessary. The heater is equipped with a wide metal tube frame. This ensures that the heater is stable and offers protection during transport. The splash-proof housing allows the heater to be used in dry and humid environments. These fan heaters require little maintenance. After a longer period of use, it may be necessary to blow the heater clean with compressed air. Fan heaters are frequently used in shipping. In order to withstand the vibrations of the ship and the rough environment, this requires a special type of fan heater. Heating Group International has developed a 440V 60Hz fan heater especially for shipping. A robust heater that functions perfectly under the harsher conditions at sea.

Process heating - Flange heater
A flange heater is a heater that is mounted in the process installation with a flange connection. Such a heater is also often called an insertion battery or insertion heater. The elements are located directly in the medium such as water, liquid, oil or gases, which causes direct heating. Depending on their application and requirements, the insertion batteries are made of steel, stainless steel or other types of metal available on the market. The connection housing can be fully adapted to the requirements of the user. Powers up to 5MW, voltage up to 3x690V, flange diameters up to 500DN (20″), pressures up to approx. 200 bar. Insertion batteries are used throughout the industry. Of course, Heating Group International offers the flange heaters according to all current standards, such as PED, ASME, EN13445. If desired or necessary, Heating Group International provides an acceptance inspection by a NoBo.

Atex solutions - Tube heater EX
The Heating Group Ex finned tube heaters are used as space heating in environments where gases or other highly flammable substances are present. Traditionally, our sales markets for this type of product are: oil drilling platforms, (petro)chemical industries and storage areas and containers for hazardous substances. The explosion-proof finned tube heaters have an ATEX connection housing and are suitable for both temperature classes T3 and T4. If desired, we also supply the finned tube heater with an external explosion-proof thermostat. We always keep sufficient heaters of the explosion-proof finned tube heater in stock. Ordered today, delivered tomorrow! Functional description The ex finned tube heaters are designed for frost protection and for keeping small work and storage areas at a higher temperature where ATEX certification is mandatory. The heaters can be used in gas group zone 1 and zone 1 (IIA, IIB, IIC) and dust group zone 21 and 22 (IIIA, IIIB, IIIC). The application takes place at offshore locations, paint environments, gas installations, containers, fireworks factories, dust environments, battery stores, petrol pumps and ammunition storage. The heater can be used for floor and wall mounting. Advantages • Certified according to ATEX, IECEx and CSA • Temperature class T2, T3 and T4 available • Powers from 500W to 2kW • Protection class IP66 connection housing • Corrosion-resistant powder-coated • Applicable in ambient temperatures from -60 °C to +60 °C • Excluding thermostat, external thermostat optionally available

Process heating - Duct heater
Heating Group International’s duct heaters are specifically designed for air heating in general, air conditioning systems, HVAC systems, space heating, process air systems, drying and many other applications. In addition, ducted air heaters can be manufactured in all types, sizes, capacities, voltages and materials, specifically for your situation.

Space heating_Finned tube heater
Heating Group offers a range of standard finned tube heaters, type CB. In addition, heaters with a different voltage or with a different capacity are of course also available. A finned tube heater is a robust convector for professional applications consisting of a steel-coated, electrically heated tube with fins. This dissipates the generated heat in a completely natural way, by means of convection. Due to its construction and the durable, hard and powder-coated protective layer, the heater is robust and maintenance-free. Due to the closed tube element as a heating source, it is also shock-resistant. The assembly is IP54, without a thermostat the protection class is even IP65. The heaters are therefore frequently used in damp areas and industrial environments with stressful conditions such as in elevator shafts, on ships, in drying rooms, but also at gas stations and pump rooms. There they can be used for space heating, additional heating, frost protection and anti-condensation. When developing the finned tube heaters, Heating Group based its design on the most compact possible design with maximum capacity. In addition, a rotating connection housing has been designed (four positions) so that our finned tube heaters can still be easily installed and connected in very limited spaces. The cable entry can always be positioned in the most convenient place. By using coated steel, our finned tube heaters provide better heat output than, for example, stainless steel. The finned tube heaters can be mounted both on the floor and against the wall, but this is subject to regulations. • The rotating connection housing makes the installation very flexible • Connection according to NEN101 and the locally applicable regulations • Earthing is mandatory • Horizontal mounting • Keep the heater free of dust and dirt and do not cover it

Temperature Control & Regulating Cabinet
Each heating element and each electric heater must be controlled with a temperature control. This can be a built-in thermostat in the heater itself, but in most cases this is done by an external control box. Since 2011, Heating Group International has designed and built all control technology that goes with our electric heating technology in-house. The process heating market is always custom-made, as is the associated control technology. By doing both the design and production with our own people, we can quickly switch to the needs of the clients. Heating Group International also has various types of temperature sensors in its range. The following types of temperature sensors can be supplied. These can also be precisely tailored to what the project requires. Think of dimensions, type of connection and design temperatures, among other things. • PT100 • PT1000 • NTC • PTC • Thermocouple (J+K) In addition to custom-made switch panels, standard thermostats can also be supplied for controlling, among other things, element heating and heating cables at lower capacities. For this, please see our HDT and MVT range.

Ramp heating
Ramp heating is used to protect the road surface against slipperiness caused by frost and snowfall and can be used under various types of paving and is essential to ensure safety. Electric road surface heating consists of heating cables that are mounted in a pattern on an upper network. The choice of the type of heating cable depends on the chosen finishing layer, for example, a cable with a higher capacity is chosen under asphalt than under concrete, for example. Below are the specifications for the different finishing layers: • Concrete: Custom-made heating cables are mounted on an upper network. The covering layer above the cable must be 3-4 cm. • Asphalt: special heating cables, resistant to high temperatures, are made to measure. • Clinker bricks: the method for clinker bricks is different from that for the other finishing layers. In that case, stabilized sand is used on which custom-made heating mats are placed. These mats are covered with a 2-3 cm layer of stabilized sand. The ideal thickness of the paving stones is approx. 6 cm. Heating Group has designed its own complete line of heating cables, with the 35w/m cable being unique in the industry. Due to the higher capacity, we need less cable to heat a surface, which of course saves on costs! HGI ramp heating is an energy-efficient system. When installing road surface heating, 2 ‘sensors’ are placed in the road surface. These sensors measure the temperature and detect the presence of moisture or winter precipitation.
