ProStopp
Double block and bleed technology trough a single Hot-Tap: Prostopp uses two independently manipulated plugging heads to seal your pipeline with the possibility of bleeding the space between the two plugging heads. This hydraulically activated isolation tool uses an energized seal which allows for one sealing element to cover multiple wall thickness per nominal pipe size and has no problem with ovality of your pipeline. The sealing elements can be used more than once. ProStopp DS maximum isolation pressure is 285 psi (19 bar), and can be used in carbon steel lines for gas, liquid, or refined oil products at temperatures up to 100°C in sizes 4” – 12”.
Hot-Tap Services
Hot-Tapping is a method of making a new connection to an existing pipeline in service. For your RFQ please use our OPS Quote Data Sheet hereafter to ensure all required data is clear and our best proposal can be prepared. Line Plugging Services
When performing a line plugging intervention, a pressurized pipeline will be partly isolated so other activities (maintenance, new construction, retro-fittings) can be performed without shutting down the entire system. Single position, double position, bypass, no bypass, type of maching being used are only a few of the options that OPS is offering combined with our line plugging technologies.
Pipe Freeze Services
When (water) line flow can temporarily be stopped for a controlled freezing intervention and particularly where there are restricted work accesses at an industrial piping jobsite. Our pipe freezing service can be the perfect solution. This proven technology can isolate your pipeline for in service repairs and is an extremely good economical solution avoiding shutdown.
