About us
UNIS Group aims to promote continuity of industrial production processes. Thus, since our start in 1984, we have ensured that our customers can make use of existing systems for as long as possible. We focus on cost savings and the continuity of your current production processes, and on extending the life of existing electronic modules.
We serve local customers and markets from our head office in Grou (Netherlands) and our specialised subsidiaries in Europe, South America and Asia. This geographical spread, combined with our many years of knowledge and experience, allows us to support customers across national borders.

We offer specialist services to monitor the condition and risks of your systems and provide insight into the stock and availability of spare parts for your installed electronic modules. By taking care of repairs, we reduce downtime of production processes in the most sustainable way possible. We have thus become one of the largest service providers in the field of industrial electronics.

We service many brands, modules and series, including customer-specific electronics or electronics that are no longer supported by the manufacturer. You can be sure that we can also minimise the risk of downtime for your industrial electronics.

On-site service
Are you dealing with a malfunction or defect, perhaps without any obvious cause? Or do you want to know the condition of your electronics? Depending on your specific question, we will provide you with customized service on site. We will visit you as soon as possible. With our on-site service, we will determine the condition of your electronic systems on site, and give you insight into the cause of malfunctions and defects.
Stocktaking and evaluation
If you know the condition of your installed systems, you avoid surprises and reduce risks. UNIS Group offers you peace of mind with our stocktaking and evaluation service. We carry out an extensive inventory of the installed electronics on site, and we make it clear in a detailed report which electronics may possibly represent a risk. We evaluate the future demand for components, their availability, what spare parts you have in stock and which electronics we can fix for you.
Sales
Our extensive inventory ensures your machines will be operational again with minimum delay. We have over 150,000 modules in stock, including new, used and end-of-life components. Through our growing network of suppliers we can offer new parts at a competitive price. We can ship directly ex-stock or we order the items you want the same day. Our product range covers a wide variety of brands.
Electronics Recycle Box
UNIS Group is always interested in acquiring new and used electronics. You can also hand in your defective electronics and parts to us. You collect the parts in our Electronics Recycle Box and we will come and collect it when it’s full at no expense to you. We reuse the materials as much as possible and recycle the parts that are no longer usable in a responsible way. This way, you contribute to a circular industry because we give new life to your outdated or faulty electronics and reuse them again in the production process.
Automation
Automating your control process, a growing need for reliable (production) data, stricter quality or environmental requirements or an outdated production line? Whatever the reason, UNIS Group supports you in automating and updating your industrial processes and machines. From designing specific control software, to guiding a comprehensive migration journey.
Research & Development
Our Research and Development department will assist you in finding solutions to a wide range of industrial questions and problems. From redesigning existing electronics and searching for compatible alternatives, to the development of test setups to test custom-made modules, this service is focused entirely on solving your specific challenges.
Servo motor repair
Our department of servo motors is specialized in the repairs, refurbishing, adjustments and tests of servo motors. After cleaning the motor and diagnosing the defect you will receive an obligation free quote. The standard repair consists of replacement of the bearings and cleaning/ refurbishing of the housing if needed.
Contract options
Our contract options enable us to offer you a customized service. Based on your needs, you and your contact person at UNIS Group decide which form of contract is best suited to your needs and requirements. We will send you a quote based on the list of parts requested by you. The following options are available: Response contract and Stock agreement (critical stock).

Repair of HMI: Operator Panels & Touch Panels
UNIS Group has an extensive experience in repairing operator and touch panels. Buying in new HMIs often results in changing installation dimensions. You don’t have this problem if the defective item is repaired. That is why UNIS Group offers a wide range of possibilities in the repair of HMIs. UNIS Group doesn’t only fix the defective electronics, but also has a wide range of foils and displays on stock for replacement. If the original foil is not available anymore an in-house developed replacement foil is used.

UNIS Group has repaired frequency drives and sofstarters for several years. We have a lot of experience in repairing different brands, types and series, from the oldest to the latest models. UNIS Group has an extensive test centre where if necessary, can test by high and continuous power up to 110 kW.
