Zingametall
About us
For more than 40 years, ZINGA has been produced and commercialized by Zingametall in Belgium. Over the years, it has gained technical expertise and extensive knowledge in the complex field that is galvanic or cathodic protection. In numerous field tests, project applications, and – most importantly – standardized testing, ZINGA has proven to provide active, long lasting, and sustainable galvanic protection to steel structures in more than 120 countries. ZINGA contains 96% of atomised zinc in its dry layer, it is environmental friendly, non-toxic and has an unlimited shelf life. ZINGAMETALL offers anti corrosion solutions to industries in construction, steel, mining, energy, water, oil & gas, public works, grid, railway, transport, cement, pulp & paper, ports & harbours, ...
ZINGA is a one component Film Galvanizing System containing 96% zinc (particles) in its dry film. It is a metallic coating and not a paint offering an active cathodic protection. The purity of the zinc used is so high that dry ZINGA does not contain any toxic elements (99.995% pure atomized zinc powder). The zinc in ZINGA (anode) sacrifices itself to protect the steel in a comparable way as hot-dip galvanizing (HDG). Upon impact, the electron flow resulting from a potential difference between the ZINGA and the steel will prevent the steel from corroding. As the ZINGA oxidizes, a layer of zinc salts slowly builds up on the ZINGA surface, closing the film and enhancing the barrier effect. In simpler terms: the ZINGA corrodes so the steel structure will not ! The use of ZINGA for the protection of steel structures will avoid a lot of maintenance, transport and save shut-down time and costs.
Products & services

ZINGA®
The ZINGA® film galvanizing system is a one-component coating that contains 96% zinc in the dry film and provides cathodic protection of ferrous metals. It can be used as a unique system, as an alternative to hot-dip galvanizing or metallizing, as a primer in a duplex system (active + passive) or as a charging system for hot-dip galvanized, metallized or zinganized surfaces. It can be applied by brushing, rolling or spraying to clean and rough surfaces in a wide range of atmospheric conditions. ZINGA® is also available as an aerosol can, sold as ZINGASPRAY

ZINGALU
ZINGALU is a one component film galvanising system for active cathodic protection. ZINGALU contains 90% zinc and 4% aluminium flakes in the dry film which provides long lasting corrosion protection. The aluminium flakes offer barrier protection and a bright colour, resembling the finish of galvanised surfaces. ZINGALU is ideal as a stand-alone system as well as for repairing and touching up of damaged or old hot-dipped, Zinganised or other zinc coated structures.

ZINGA SPRAYS
Zingametall offers a complete range of ready-to-use spray solutions designed for fast, efficient and reliable corrosion protection in maintenance and repair situations. The spray range includes: ZINGASPRAY – zinc-rich coating providing active galvanic protection. ALUSPRAY – aluminium-based coating for barrier protection and an aesthetic finish. ZINGALUSPRAY – combined zinc-aluminium coating for enhanced durability. These aerosols are specifically developed for quick interventions on-site, making them ideal for touch-ups, repairs, and difficult-to-access areas.

ALU ZM
ALU ZM is a high-performance aluminium coating designed to complement galvanic protection systems. It offers: - Excellent barrier protection - Enhanced durability in aggressive environments - Aesthetic aluminium finish Ideal for offshore structures, energy installations and industrial assets.

AQUAZINGA
AQUAZINGA is a two-component, 100% water-based anti-corrosion coating based on inorganic zinc silicates, developed for high-performance protection in demanding environments. With 94% pure zinc in the dry film, AQUAZINGA provides true cathodic protection to steel, comparable to hot-dip galvanising or metallisation, combined with the flexibility of on-site application. Its self-healing properties ensure continuous protection, even when the coating is mechanically damaged, helping to maintain structural integrity over time. Key benefits: - 100% water-based → environmentally friendly solution - 94% zinc content for active galvanic protection - Self-healing effect for long-term durability - Excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals and extreme conditions - High temperature resistance up to 600°C - Suitable for both new structures and maintenance

ZINGA 420
ZINGA 420 is an innovative evolution of the ZINGA®-technology, developed to meet increasing environmental and regulatory demands. This low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) formulation offers a more sustainable solution while maintaining the proven performance of ZINGA®. The Film Galvanising System ZINGA 420 is a one-component coating containing 96% zinc in the dry film, providing active cathodic protection to ferrous metals. It can be used: - As a stand-alone system as an alternative to hot-dip galvanisation or metallisation. -As a primer in duplex systems (active + passive protection). - As a recharging system for galvanized or metallized surfaces ZINGA 420 can be applied by brush, roller or spray on a properly prepared substrate and performs reliably in a wide range of atmospheric conditions. ZINGA 420 combines high-performance corrosion protection with a reduced environmental footprint, making it a forward-looking solution for modern industry.

ZINGA COLOR SPRAY
Zingametall’s colour spray solutions combine effective corrosion protection with aesthetic finishing, offering a practical and efficient solution for maintenance and touch-up applications. Designed to be used in combination with ZINGA systems or as a finishing layer, these sprays provide both visual consistency and additional barrier protection. Key features: - Available in a range of colours for finishing and marking - Compatible with ZINGA galvanic systems - Easy-to-use aerosol format for quick application - Ideal for touch-ups, identification, and aesthetic requirements - Enhances durability while improving appearance These solutions are particularly suited for industrial maintenance, infrastructure, and equipment protection, where both performance and visual finish matter.
