The multipurpose lubricant RD 5, guaranteed without silicone, is an anti-corrosion protection fluid and water chaser.
Ready for use, clear and without any hydrocarbon chloride, it possesses decarbonising properties and eliminates
frictioning.
Typical properties
The advantages of the RD 5 lubricant are as follows:
- Penetrating effect by way of micro diffusion
- Cleaning, penetrating, detarring properties reinforced by the addition of polar solvented fractions (increased
properties of capillarity)
- Optimised lubricating effect on all parts in motion through the use of polar synthetic by-products
- Its water chasing effect (transfer of any humidity present on the parts to be treated)
- Very good protection against corrosion (presence of a protective lubricating film)
- Compatible with most plastics and elastomers and low toxicity for man and his environment
Technical data and appl icat ions
RD 5 can be applied using drops, spraying or a brush and is recommended for the penetration, lubrication and general
protection of mechanisms and articulations, in the following applications:
- General maintenance and protection of bolts, hinges and axles before use or during operation
- Cleaning, penetrating and clean lubrication of chains, cables and articulations
- Lubrication of clockmaking movements and small alternative movements
- Protection of mechanical parts in an aggressive or dusty environment, etc.
