About us
Berg Metaal specializes in thermal spraying and the repair of worn machine parts. Using techniques such as HVOF, plasma spraying, and wire spraying, we apply high-quality wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and dimensionally correct coatings. In addition, we have extensive capabilities for conventional turning, grinding, and machining. This allows us to carry out the entire repair process in-house, from pre-treatment and coating to precise finishing to final dimensions. We distinguish ourselves through short lead times, flexibility, and practical solutions. We can also handle large and long workpieces, such as shafts, rollers, and industrial machine parts. By repairing existing parts instead of replacing them, we extend their lifespan, minimize downtime, and often offer a sustainable and cost-effective solution.

• Machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials using conventional lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, grinding machines, and boring machines. • Checking dimensions, tolerances, and finish using professional measuring instruments. • Identifying and resolving deviations and malfunctions, and contributing ideas for improvements. • Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized workplace. • Has experience as an all-round machinist or is eager to further develop their skills in the trade. • Enjoys working with conventional machines. • Gets energy from variety and technical challenges. • Functions well both independently and as part of a team. • Shows initiative and thinks proactively and solution-oriented. • Works accurately and always strives for quality. • Fits well within a close-knit team where hard work and humor go hand in hand.
Cylindrical grinder
• Working on precision parts. • Independently setting up cylindrical grinding machines and optimizing the grinding process. • Translating technical drawings into high-quality end products. • Machining shafts, bushings, and rollers according to the highest quality standards. • Accurately checking quality and dimensions using professional measuring instruments. • Tackling technical challenges and contributing ideas for smart improvements. We are looking for someone who: • Has experience as a cylindrical grinder or is eager to further develop their skills in the trade. • Can read technical drawings and works within precise tolerances. • Enjoys working on overhauls, repairs, and custom orders. • Takes pride in craftsmanship and strives for the best end result. • Fits well within a close-knit team where hard work and humor go hand in hand.
