The potential risk of fire and explosion arises from the presence of flammable or easily combustible gases, liquids and dust in the petrochemical, mining and similar industries.
REDUCE THE RISK
Non-ferrous materials such as brass, bronze, copper-aluminum alloys, or copper-beryllium alloys reduce the risk of sparks. These softer materials significantly reduce the risk of ignitable sparks. The Bahco series of spark-free is made of aluminum bronze (Al-Br) or copper-beryllium (Cu-Be). This means that both are safe and suitable for such hazardous environments.
