(Field) Service Engineer

Key Activities & Accountabilities
We are looking for a real team player with a great customer focus. You will execute preventive maintenance on a range of Munters equipment. You will provide on-site troubleshooting on both components as specialized products (mechanically and electrical equipment) and will provides on-site installation, configuration, modification and repairs. You are willing to learn and have a proactive attitude. You take initiative in giving advice to the customer and can identify commercial opportunities. You help your team by improving processes. You will create daily reports and quotations in our CRM-system, actively pursue and follow up on your quotations. You will achieve this by working and collaborating closely with colleagues in the sales, service & admin departments. The Service team consists of about 12 people and you will report to the Teamleader.

Skills, Abilities & Education
• Bachelor Electromechanics or air conditioning (HVAC), or equivalent by experience
• Affinity with HVAC or a background in installation technology sector is an advantage
• VCA diploma is an advantage
• Ambitious and driven to achieve end goals;
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English and basic understanding of French.
• Experienced with Microsoft 365 and CRM software
• You spend most of your time at customer sites in Belgium and Luxembourg, so a driving license is necessary.

What we offer
We offer a competitive market salary and a contract for 38 hours per week to perform in a 36-hour system (full-time). Your official location will be the Mechelen office, but you will travel all through Belgium and Luxembourg. We follow Joint Committee 200 (PC 200). We have 20 vacation days and 12 ADV days (full time and full year). We also offer additional group insurance, hospitalization insurance, meal and eco vouchers, the annual premium as in force within PC 200.
